System – Mileage Warning

Troubleshoot Incorrect Mileage Recorded

“The mileage entered is less than the maximum found for the vehicle…”

1

Entering a vehicle’s mileage/hour reading that is less than the vehicle’s highest reading in the system will trigger a ‘Warning’. This is caused by an incorrect reading in the vehicle’s history or a back dated record is entered.

To locate the incorrect reading, open the Vehicle’s Details and select the Mileage Register.

Select ‘Show All’

This screen displays ALL mileage entries entered in the system ie. Service, Repairs, Tyres, Mileage, Fuel & DVCL’s registers. The ID# prefix (F, DC, M, S, R, T) idenitifies which register the mileage entry is located in.

1. Double Click on the Km’s (Closed) Column Heading – this sorts the mileage readings into descending order (highest value to the top).

Here we can edit entries that are incorrect.

2. Select the relevant blue hyperlink.
