Troubleshoot Incorrect Mileage Recorded
“The mileage entered is less than the maximum found for the vehicle…”
To locate the incorrect reading, open the Vehicle’s Details and select the Mileage Register.
Select ‘Show All’
This screen displays ALL mileage entries entered in the system ie. Service, Repairs, Tyres, Mileage, Fuel & DVCL’s registers. The ID# prefix (F, DC, M, S, R, T) idenitifies which register the mileage entry is located in.
1. Double Click on the Km’s (Closed) Column Heading – this sorts the mileage readings into descending order (highest value to the top).
Here we can edit entries that are incorrect.
2. Select the relevant blue hyperlink.
Services
1. Select the Service ID # from the vehicle’s ‘Kms/Hrs History’
2 & 3. Edit the ‘Kms Open & Kms Closed’ and then select ‘No’ for the warning that appears.
(This will keep the edited reading)
4. Select ‘X’ to close the Service.
Repairs
1. Select the Repair ID # from the vehicle’s ‘Kms/Hrs History’
2. Edit the ‘Kms Open & Kms Closed’ and then select ‘No’ for the warning that appears.
(This will keep the edited reading)
3. Select ‘X’ to close the Service.
Fuel
1. Select the Fuel ID # from the vehicle’s ‘Kms/Hrs History’.
2. Edit the ‘Mileage’ field and then select ‘No’ for the warning that appears. (This will keep the edited reading)
3. Select ‘Close’.
Mileage
1. Select the Mileage ID # from the vehicle’s ‘Kms/Hrs History’.
2. Edit the ‘Mileage’ field and then select ‘No’ for the warning that appears. (This will keep the edited reading)
3. Select ‘Close’.
Daily Vehicle Check
For DC Logs (Daily Vehicle Checks) these are edited through the Daily Check Register in NHVAS Module.
Take note of the DC ID # eg 29, to edit in Daily Check Register.
1. Using ‘Quick Find’ enter the DC ID # previously noted, in this case 29.
2. Select the ‘Check #’ (blue hyperlink)
3. Edit the ‘Mileage’ field and then select ‘No’ for the warning that appears. (This will keep the edited reading)
4. Select ‘X’ to save and close the window.
Refresh Vehicle’s Kms/Hrs History
If any changes are not reflected on the Vehicle’s Kms/Hrs History, select ‘F5’ on your keybord.
